Assistant Officer, Digital & Information Technology

1) Provide first-line technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
2) Assist in troubleshooting and resolving IT problems in a timely and efficient manner.
3) Escalate complex issues to the IT team or external vendors when necessary.
4) Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems, peripherals, and mobile devices.
5) Conduct routine checks to ensure proper functioning of hardware components.
6) Install, configure, and update software applications. Provide guidance to end-users on software usage and best practices.
7) Troubleshoot software-related issues and coordinate with the IT team for resolution.
8) Assist with ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to meet changing priorities.

1) Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
2) Previous experience in a technical support or IT assistant role is preferred.
3) Familiarity with operating systems, networking, and commonly used software applications.
4) Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
5) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6) Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
7) A proactive and customer-focused approach to technical support.
8) Strong work ethic and a proactive approach, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
